Ari Morales, who will be a freshman at Bellevue next year, recently garnered high honors at the National Underclassman Combine for football in Seattle on May 29th.

Morales competed against other 8th and 9th-graders in Washington (and one athlete for Canada) for an invitation to compete in Cathedral City, Calif., for the U100 combine, an event that gathers the top-100 incoming freshman in the region. The Chinook Middle School 8th-grader won MVP and was awarded an invitation to the U100 event on July 10th.

Morales, a running back and safety, had a broad jump of 8'4'', ran the 40-yard dash in 4.86 seconds and did seven reps on the bench press of 135-pounds, among the various event at the combine.
