Metro All-Stars beat KingCo All-Stars 14-5

Colby Morse of Bainbridge sparked a 10-run seventh inning with a grand slam that helped the Metro 3A All-Stars knock off the KingCo All-Stars 14-5 in a feeder game Saturday at Bannerwood.
Bellevue senior Taylor Anderson went 2 for 4 with a solo home run to help lead the KingCo team, while Liberty's Eric Peterson also added a solo shot. Interlake's Spencer Nelson had two hits and Sammamish's Will Minice added a double.
Minice was tagged for the loss in the game, allowing three runs while striking out three. Eastside Catholic ace Matt Boyd picked up the win, allowing no earned runs and striking out two.
Morse, O'Dea's John Burhman and Eastside Catholic's Mike Bush all hit doubles for the Metro All-Stars in the win.
