Stalker selected as NWC Student-Athlete of the Week, again

Willamette University senior first baseman and former Sammamish Totem Kyle Stalker was named the Northwest Conference Baseball Player Student-Athlete of the Week for the second time in a row Wednesday.

Stalker batted .467 (7 of 15) with four home runs and 12 RBIs in five games from April 7-11. The Bearcats went 3-2 during that stretch.

During his career with the Bearcats, Stalker has set numerous WU career records, including 47 home runs and 155 RBIs.

In 2008, he was selected Third Team All-America by the ABCA and was the NWC Player of the Year.
