Bellevue resident and Seattle Prep senior Freddie Nordhoff earned Metro League first-team all-league honors for boys golf by finishing fifth in the two-day league tournament that concluded last Thursday at West Seattle Golf Course.
Nordhoff carded a 3-over-par 75 on Thursday after shooting 5-over 75 at Jefferson Park Golf Course on Tuesday. Nordhoff’s 36-hole total was 150, only eight strokes behind tournament winner Carl Jonson of Bainbridge High School.
Nordhoff advanced to Monday’s district 2 tournament at Harbour Pointe Golf Club in Mukilteo, where the top Metro and KingCo golfers will compete for berths in the state tournament next spring. Results were not available as of Reporter deadline.
