Bellevue cross country teams ranked

Four cross country teams from Bellevue were ranked in the most recent Washington State Coaches Association poll.

On the boys side, Bellevue was ranked fifth overall in Class 3A, while Bellevue Christian came in eighth in the Class 1A poll.

On the girls side, Newport High School, last year’s state champions, were ranked eighth in 4A, while Bellevue was ranked ninth in 3A.

Top ranked boys teams included Jackson (4A), North Central (3A) and Port Townsend (1A).

The top girls teams were Gig Harbor (4A), Lakeside (3A) and King’s in Class 1A.
