Sammamish High loses to Juanita

Sammamish couldn’t hang tough in the conference opener against Juanita, losing 49-9 on Friday.

Juanita’s Cole Graves rushed for two scores and returned an interception for a touchdown, one of three interceptions the Totems (0-3, 0-1) threw.

The Rebels (2-1, 1-0) led 42-0 at half time. Nick Olearain led Juanita’s passing game, throwing for 154 yards and a touchdown.

Mount Si drops Interlake

Interlake couldn’t stop Mount Si’s rushing and fell 37-8 on Friday.

Ryan Snead ran for 218 yards for Mount Si (1-2, 1-0).

The Saints (2-1, 0-1) couldn’t get much offense going and tallied just 144 total yards.

Newport beats Ballard

Newport took down Ballard 34-19 Friday night to improve to 2-1.
