Bellevue Sandy Koufax baseball team wins title

The Bellevue Warriors 14U baseball team took the Cascade Division championship at the Sandy Koufax Washington State Select Baseball League state tournament recently, beating the Northwest Knights 15-8 in the title game.

The Warriors opened with a 7-6 win over Rippers BBC, before falling 13-4 to the Bainbridge Island Mavericks the following day.

A 12-1 win over Wildcats BBC and a 7-5 victory over the Northwest Knights sent them to the semifinals, and a 4-3 win over Spartans BBC earned them a spot in the championship.

The team finished in fourth place during the regular season, with a 17-9 record.
