The 10U Bellevue Blast softball team finished second at an American Softball Association tournament at Marymoor Park recently, reaching the championship game.

The Blast beat the Seattle Spice 7-4 in the opener, before taking care of the VFW Bombers 6-3 in the second game of what would be a triple-header.

The Blast fell 10-2 to the Skagit Valley Thunder in the championship game. The Blast won their first game 11-2 over the Spice in pool play, before beating Washington Blaze 8-3.

Team members include Chloe Larson, Jenna Stanley, Delaney Chenevert, Ava Doyle, Rosalynn Schurch, Avery Taylor, Payton Pluschke, Lexi Richards, Elliotte Wood, Brook Richards, Michelle Lyon and Jessica Fink. Stephanie Hatley and Keith Mange coach the team, which is comprised of players age 10 and under.
