Conner Todd tossed a complete game on the mound for the Wolverines, scattering five base hits and allowing only two runs to get the win.

Brady Carlson had a 2-for-3 day at the plate, knocking in three runs, while Reagan Teegarden and Zack Rossman also checked in with multi-hit games for Bellevue.

The Wolverines are the only team left in the league without a conference loss, and sit atop 3A KingCo at 3-0.

Interlake 2 Mercer Island 10

The Saints led by a run headed into the bottom of the sixth inning before the Islanders hung a nine spot on the board to take control and get the 10-2 win.

Mount Si 8 Sammamish 1

The Totems managed only five base hits, as Greg Leban knocked in Zack Leban for their only run in an 8-1 loss to the Wildcats.

Newport 2 Redmond 3

The Knights' pitching staff kept the Mustangs in check for most of the afternoon, but a three-run home run provided the final margin in a 3-2 Redmond win.

Boys soccer

Mercer Island 2 Bellevue 0

Matthew LeProwse and Tate Crenshaw, along with the Mercer Island defense, kept Bellevue at bay in the shutout win.

Interlake 2 Juanita 1

The Saints got goals from Stirling Russell (from Gabriel Simental) and Jose Castillo (from Eduardo Esparza) and held off the Rebels to get the KingCo win.

Sammamish 4 Lake Washington 1

Edgar Moreno-Flores scored a pair of goals, and the Totems also got scoring strikes from Laureano Villasenor and Kai Albrecht in the win over the Kangs.

Softball

Garfield 1 Newport 5

Kat Wood had three hits at the plate and tossed a complete game in the pitcher's circle to get the win for the Knights.

Maggie Pana knocked in two runs to help her team to the victory.
