Boys lacrosse teams tested against out-of-state foes | Prep sports news
Bellevue's boys lacrosse team, still unbeaten in Washington state play and atop the conference standings, began its annual Spring Break trip to the east coast Wednesday.
The Wolverines are set to face three teams in Virginia, beginning with the St. Stephens & St. Agnes School. Bellevue will also visit Langley, and play Dominion on the campus of the University of Virginia.
The team is also scheduled to watch two of the nation's top collegiate programs face off, as Duke visits UVA.
In their last game before the break, Eric Haehl scored three goals to lead his team to a 9-4 win over Lake Washington.
Cole Cansler, a senior goalie, finished with 10 saves in the win.

Newport Sammamish Interlake took its boys lacrosse team out of state for Spring Break as well, playing three games in Colorado.
NSI lost its first two games by one goal each, falling 7-6 to Cherokee Trail and 10-9 to Smokey Hill, before taking on Chatfield in the final game of the trip Wednesday.
