The Knights did all their scoring in the top half of the fifth inning to get the win over Ballard.
Kat Wood picked up the win in the circle, going all seven innings and scattering six hits. Sydney Tomlinson had a pair of RBI and three base hits, including a pair of doubles, and Kaitlin Sahlinger and Bridget Raftery also knocked in a run each in the win.

Delaney Douglas shot 50 to lead the Saints against Mercer Island, but a pair of Islanders shot 45 and all five counting scores were sub-50 as MI took the team scoring win.
Bellevue 3 Lake Washington 1
Ryan Harber put Bellevue in front early and Cutler Halverson and John Marcelia added goals three minutes apart in the second half to help the Wolverines to the win.
Cody Gibson had a pair of assists for Bellevue on the Harber and Marcelia goals.
Bellevue's Savard near top of SCIAC
Bellevue alum Katie Savard, who helped the Wolverines to the only two state tournament appearances in school history in 2010 and 2011, is fifth in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in batting average for Claremont-Mudd-Scripps and leads the league in slugging percentage in conference games.
Savard has tallied 342 hits in 35 games, including three home runs and 11 doubles. Her 32 RBI are also near the league-leaders.
Claremont-Mudd-Scripps is 26-10 on the year and has won its last six games.
