One BCC baseball player has been named to the all-NWAACC team, and three others have been named to the All Northern Region Second Team.

Sophomore starting pitcher Brad Reid was Bellevue’s lone selection to the All-NWAACC team. He was the top vote getter among all pitchers in the conference after duplicating dominant statistics from his stellar freshman campaign. The righty also recently verbally committed to pitch at the University of Portland next year with teammate Brent Miller, although Reid is expected to go in the Major League Baseball draft in early June.

Reid also was a North Region First Team selection, after the right hander finished with an impressive 7-1 record and a 0.76 ERA while logging 59 innings of work. He also struck out 48 batters. Reid also was an All-Region First Team selection in 2007, as he helped BCC to the NWAACC Championship.

Starting pitcher Stephen Foster and infielders Hunter Beaty and Will Campbell have all been named to the Second Team.

Foster, a sophomore, finished with a 4-3 record and a 2.02 ERA, while striking out a team high 62 batters in 58 innings of work.

Freshmen infielder Beaty finished with a team high .351 batting average, 2 homeruns, 20 RBIs, and a team high 40 hits in 114 at bats.

Sophomore first baseman Campbell finished with a team high 4 homeruns, 21 RBIs, and a .327 batting average.
