The Interlake girls golf team took home the third place trophy from the State 3A Tournament at Shuksan Golf Course in Bellingham this week. It

in 2007 and third in 2008).

Sophomore Gabe Barnow led the team, finishing in 11th place with a two-day total of 169 (84-85). Sophomore Jessica Parker finished tied for 15th at 171 (86-85), and senior McKenzie Ballod finished tied for 24th at 181 (92-89).

Kelly Lee of Newport finished tied for 18th at 178 (89-89).

Five of the top seven players from the first

day of the tournament were from the KingCo district.

Enumclaw, who finished second to Interlake last year, took home the team title.
