Newport kept its season alive with an eight point win over Inglemoor on Thursday in the third-place game of the 4A KingCo boys basketball tournament.
The win sends the Knights into a winner-to-state, loser-out game with Mount Vernon at home on Tuesday with a 7 p.m. tip.
Bellevue 68 Eastside Catholic 76
The Wolverines saw their season end two games from the 3A state tournament after the loss to the Crusaders in the consolation bracket semi-finals of the Sea-King District tournament on Friday at Bellevue College.

Newport 42 Eastlake 37
The Knights will move on to face the winner of a game between Lake Stevens and Snohomish for the final berth from District 2 after beating Eastlake on Thursday in the third-place game.
Bellevue 41 Mercer Island 35
Bellevue bounced back from only its second loss of the season in quick order, beating Mercer Island for the fourth time this season to take the district's third seed to next week's regional playoffs. The Wolverines will meet the second seeded team from district's 3 and 4 in a game at Mount Tahoma High School on February 22 in a 6 p.m. tip.
