Skyline sinks Sammamish soccer

Kyle Anderson, Mitchell Kim and Riley McCoy all scored to help Skyline down Sammamish 3-0 to eliminate the Totems from post-season play.

Edgar Esquivel had two assists in the win, and Brian Schwartz picked up the shutout in goal for the Spartans (11-5-3).

Sammamish ends its season 12-3-3. The Totems finished the regular season 10-3-3, earning 33 points and finishing second behind Mercer Island, which earned 35.

Sammamish had beaten Skyline 3-1 a month earlier, and tied the Spartans 2-2 to open up the season.
