The Falcons erased a double-digit deficit in the final frame and beat Newport despite 14 points from Marikah Wright and 12 more from Casey Schoenlein.

Erin Hamilton's 17 for Woodinville led all scorers.

Lake Washington 71 Interlake 37

Eboney Jackson put in 13 points to lead the Saints in the loss to Lake Washington.

Rachel Brous and Camille Sullivan combined for 13 more.

Sammamish 52 Mercer Island 21

Montana Hagstrom and Nitsumi Naito scored seven points each to pace Sammamish in the loss to the Islanders.

Northwest School 38 Forest Ridge 39

Cindy Hsu led all scorers with 16 points and Forest Ridge got 14 more from Somali Pai in the one point win.

Gymnastics

Roosevelt 146.5 Newport 166.6 Woodinville 170.55

Candace Ho won the all around, vault, bars and beam and finished second in the floor exercise for Newport.
