Two from Bellevue make title game in California with Olympic Development program

Bellevue's Sophie and Lillie French and their Eastside FC GF 97 team made it all the way to the finals of the Regional Championship soccer tournament in Las Vegas before falling 2-0 to a team from California.

The team won three games by a combined score of 10-0 prior to the title match.

The ODP program was created in 1977 to identify players of the highest caliber on a continuing and consistent basis, with the intention of leading to increased success for the U.S. National Teams in the international arena.  The program provides players high-level training to benefit and enhance their development at all levels.

Sky High files for Chapter 11

Sky High Sports in Bellevue, a popular trampoline park that has also faced a number of lawsuits after injuries sustained at the facility including many by minors, has filed for Chapter 11. The business will remain open during and after the process, according to the company.
