Garfield 53 Newport 50

The Knights led heading into the fourth quarter but fell behind 19 points from Trevaunte Williams and 17 more from Tucker Haymond as Garfield picked up the three point win.

Isaac Dotson paced Newport with 15 and Miles Fowler and Jason Lock each scored 11 more.

Bellevue 54 Mercer Island 66

Timmy Haehl led Bellevue offensively with 16 points and Jack Walton added 15 more, but it wasn't enough in the double digit loss to the Islanders.

Mount Si 64 Sammamish 41

Noah Pratt's 13 and Robert Ambartsumyan's 11 paced the Totems in the loss.

Cascade Christian 53 Bellevue Christian 50

Jake Vandenbrink was the only Viking in double figures with 18 points as BCS fell to Cascade Christian by three.

Girls basketball

Garfield 17 Newport 59

Lauren Moretti's 11 points and Marikah Wright's 10 led the way as Newport picked up a lopsided win over Garfield.

The Knights allowed four points combined in the second and fourth quarters.

Juanita 55 Interlake 18

Camille Sullivan scored six points to lead Interlake, which was not able to mount a threat against Juanita in the loss.

Mount Si 54 Sammamish 49

Montana Hagstrom scored 19 points and Nitsumi Naito added 13 more for the Totems in the loss.

Bellevue Christian 32 Cascade Christian 44

The Vikings got 11 points from Ashley Osborn but were outscored 28-18 in the final two quarters in the loss.

Rachel Williams scored 10 for Bellevue Christian.

Bellevue's Jack records five tackles in All-American bowl

Myles Jack finished the U.S. Army All-American Bowl with five total tackles, including one for a loss, in the West team's 15-8 loss to the East in the U.S. Army All-American bowl.
