Saints take KingCo title, Bellevue second
3A KingCo golf's new champion, is the same as its old one.
Interlake repeated as league champions with a 13 stroke win over second-place Bellevue, paced by the 75 of senior Patrick Sato, who finished in tie for second individually with Bellevue's Radleigh Ang.
Grant Cole's 76 was good for sixth, Andrew Kennedy was right behind with a 77 and Andy Liu and Collin Joy tied for 10th with a 78.
Chandler Hawk finished in fifth for Bellevue and Brock Meitl ended in a tie with Liu and Joy. Sammamish sophomore Matt Marrese shot a 76 to tie Hawk for fifth.
Volleyball
Interlake 0 Mount Si 3, Interlake 1 Lake Washington 3
The Saints dropped a pair of matches, first in a sweep by Mount Si and then in four games to Lake Washington.
Bellevue 0 Mount Si 3
The Wildcats got the sweep despite a team high nine digs from Julia Pettere.
