Thunderbird Majors team takes inner-city tourney

The Pirates of Bellevue Thunderbird Little League are the champions of the inner-city tournament after an 8-2 win in the title game.

It is the first championship for a Thunderbird team at the inner-city tournament in seven years.

Pirates win A division title

The Pirates took the A division title for Bellevue Thunderbird Little League with a win over the Twins. The team is comprised of 15 Newport Heights Elementary students.

Team members are: Charlie Bass, Mark Brasel, Lucas Hsu, Carlos Golan, Colin Wall, Grant Gardner.Nate Thomas, Nolan Balocco, Logan Blank, Owen Weber, Aldon Lobo, Nathan Shilley. Coaches Chris Thomas, Mark Gardner, Thomas Lobo.
