The Vikings held off a late charge from SAAS for the three point win behind a team high 16 points from Bryce Oldham and 11 more from Ethan Mitchell.

Yaniv Shier put in 25 to lead the way for Seattle Academy.

Liberty 36 Sammamish 72

The Totems got a team high 14 points from Robert Ambartsumyan and 11 more from John Steinberg in the win over the Patriots.

Sammamish built a 21 point lead at the break and will face top seeded Lake Washington tonight in the second round of the tournament at 6:30 p.m. at Bellevue College.

The Wolverines and Islanders will meet for the third time in less than a week after closing the regular season against one another and then meeting again to break the second-place tie headed into the tournament.
Bellevue took the initial meeting of the year back on Jan. 14 by a score of 45-40 before the Islanders won the rematch in the regular season finale by a count of 57-48.
The Wolverines exacted a measure of revenge in the latest incarnation with a 58-46 win and will look to earn a spot in Thursday night's tournament championship game.

The Wolverines built a seven point lead at the break and staved off elimination behind the game high 22 points of Katie Savard and 17 more from Kate Holmes.

Shelby Peerboom paced the Wildcats with 13 points.

Bellevue moves on to face top seeded Juanita tonight in the second round of the tournament in the final game of the night at Bellevue College.
