Tax protests hypocritical

Regarding the tax protest day, let's see, white, affluent Republican Bellevuites protesting taxes from Obama that haven't even come into effect yet. It seems to be a bit premature and a tad bit hypocritical.

Isn't it because of the Republicans that we are in this spot economically in the first place, staring with the Voodoo economics of the Reagan era and continuing on through the Bush years.

It is also interesting that on April 15, a weekday when most people have to be at work, these people (retired maybe or out of work) are out enjoying the sunshine. The working poor don't have the luxury to take the afternoon off.
