Thank you to everyone involved with the Recycling Collection Day held at the First Presbyterian Church of Bellevue on Saturday, Oct. 11.

I started out with great reluctance, expecting long lines and a considerable wait time. Much to my surprise, the event was perfectly orchestrated and very well staffed.

When I pulled into the line we moved right along - I was directed to where I needed to go (paper shredding) with ease. Each person I encountered was friendly and helpful all the way through, even at the exit, where there was another person to make sure I knew which way to turn to get to my next destination.

The entire process took only 10 minutes! Mission accomplished!

I will encourage other reluctant people to join in.
