Backstrom shows courage

Thank you for printing Walter Backstrom’s opinion piece entitled, “If believing in God is wrong, I don’t want to be right.”

In this day and age with so many attacks on people with Christian beliefs by those calling themselves liberals and touting slogans of freedom with conditions attached, I admire Mr. Backstrom’s courage in writing the article and the Bellevue Reporter for printing it.

I have cancelled subscriptions to both the P.I. and Times because I found them increasingly much too biased to the left. Dave Jacobs
