After reading the article about Redmond’s position on Idlewood Park, I say “boo” to Redmond!

I posted the article here at work for everyone to see and discuss. As an advocate for children - shame on Redmond and its parks department. Many comments were made around the water cooler this afternoon - most of my colleagues at work had nothing but distain for Redmond’s policy. Some laughed and said “typical Redmond” Parks are for children.

I will not shop, eat, buy books, go to movies, or purchase anything from Redmond in the future. In my small way I will protest and be as vocal as possible every chance I get.

Oh, by the way, my two grandsons attend Camp Ardmore with the Boys and Girls Club. They are so disappointed on hot days when they cannot play at Idlewood park and have complained to their parents about how unfair it is, Just more stress to working parents who have to work, but strive to provide the best care and experience possible for their children.
