Letter full of drivel

The Reporter's decision to include George Whitaker’s drivel on the papers Dec. 21 editorial page says an awful lot about your standards.

He begins with the laughable contention that GOP has a “stranglehold” on the country. He follows that with the liberal obsession with the idea Bush "lied" on Iraq. His defense of Susan Rice is particularly absurd with suggestions “she was deliberately set up by the CIA.” (Either she was incompetent because she chose not to read the classified version or she lied)

As a Republican, I deeply resent his claims we have a “deep seeded hate of Obama,” that the 1 percent, who already pay 25 percent of all the federal income taxes, pay more for the damage he claims they caused, and we “could not care less about the welfare of the country.”

You should be ashamed.
