Diane Tebelius, running for Position 1, state House of Representatives, is a longtime respected citizen of the West Lake Sammamish area of Bellevue. She has had a very successful career: math teacher, federal prosecutor, tax attorney and has served on several boards including Child Haven helping neglected children.

Tebelius has great talent with numbers and will serve us well restoring fiscal sanity and accountability to Olympia.

As a grandparent, sharing opinions of other grandparents, I am concerned about the future economy and standard of living our children and grandchildren will have. Constant tax increases burden working families and small businesses which form the foundation of a successful society.

Tebelius will, I am sure, support the two-thirds vote required before taxes can be raised by the Legislature.

Let's send a math teacher to Olympia.
