William Alan Johnston

William Alan Johnston was born May 24, 1943, left this world February 12, 2015.

He attended Sammamish High School, U of W and post graduate work at several universities.

Will was a very honest, intelligent, thoughtful, generous and caring man. He used his skills to improve the lives of others. A student for life, Will was always exploring new ideas and places. Will taught in Universities in several countries and traveled the world. As a baseball star he pitched the illusive perfect game.

Preceded in death by his father William H. Johnston and brother Jim. Will is survived by his mother Dorothy, sister Susan, brother Kelly and numerous nieces and nephews.

Will is remembered fondly by students, coworkers, family and friends. Memorials to the American Cancer Society. Military Funeral, Friday, April 3 at 10:45 am Tahoma National Cemetery, 18600 S E 240th St, Kent WA.
