THELMA NICKLETT

Born Thelma Elizabeth Dean on March 3, 1925 in Buckner, KY, Thelma Nicklett passed away at home in Issaquah on October 10, 2017 at age 92. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Charles E. Nicklett in 2006 after 64 years of marriage.

Thelma attended Chico, CA schools and received BA ED in 1960 from University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA. She taught school for 5 years.

She moved to Bellevue in 1970 then Issaquah in 1971. She was active at Aldersgate United Methodist Church for 35+ years and active in Kiwanis, Red Hat Club, Gourmet Club and Hospital auxiliary. She loved to play bridge and to travel with Chuck, particularly to Hawaii.

Thelma was a loving wife and mother and will be sorely missed. She is survived by son Charles R. Nicklett of Kirkland, daughter Susan Lynn Godsell of Orlando, FL and son Gary E. Nicklett of Lake Tapps plus 4 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two sisters and one brother.

A memorial service will be held at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent on December 28 at precisely 1:15 PM.
