Ransom Morrow Holcom

Ransom Morrow Holcomb passed away on Monday, July 20, 2015 at Virginia Mason Hospital.

Ransom is survived by daughter Kim Lilly, her husband Ed and 3 sons, Ed, Henry & George, his daughter Kristine Barker, her husband Dean and their two sons Brandon & Adam and their daughters Emily & Sarah, his son Brad Holcomb and his sister Patty Simpson.

Ransom was born to Pearl and Ransom Holcomb in Walla Walla, WA on July 23, 1937. He grew up in Coulee Dam, WA where he graduated from Coulee Dam High School. He served in the Army and attended both WSU and UW where he studied engineering. He worked at Boeing and later became President of Warden Fluid Dynamics in Fremont.

Ransom was very social and loved people. He was a member of the Bellevue Club where he enjoyed spending time with his friends. He also loved Starbucks and visiting over a cup of coffee. Ransom loved to play and watch golf and was a member of Glendale Golf & Country Club. He was a dedicated and loving grandfather.

We will miss him and his great sense of humor. All the love and laughter he brought to our family will live on in our memories of him forever.
