Dr. William Clinton Kenner III

Dr. William Clinton Kenner III, (Bill). Born March 12, 1928 Omaha, Nebraska died April 20, 2016 Ellensburg, Washington with his children by his side.

Bill graduated from the University of Nebraska, University of Nebraska medical school, did his internship in Kansas City and his residency in radiology in Chicago. He was drafted in 1953 and stationed at Fort Lawton in WA. He returned to Chicago but never lost his love for the Pacific Northwest and his opportunities for fishing. He returned to Washington in 1958 with the family and settled into Bridle Trails in Bellevue in 1959. He worked as a radiologist from 1958 until he retired in 1988. After retiring he and Bobbe spent winters in Palm Desert, CA where they continued their love for the game of golf.

He also enjoyed reading and had a system for rating the many books he read over the years. He enjoyed bird watching and even in the last few months could spot a house finch from 100 yards away.

Bill was preceded in death by his first wife Bobbe

(nee Dejarnette) in 2003 after 54 years of marriage. His second wife Jean Reed with whom he spent the last 10 years of his life passed away last month.

Bill is survived by his two children, Dr William “Clint” Kenner IV (Ardath) of Ellensburg, WA and his daughter Cindi Deslys Kenner (Susan) of Sammamish, WA. One grandson Dr William C. Kenner V “Will” (Leigh) and two great grandchildren Brynn Deslys and William C Kenner VI “Liam” of Seattle WA.

He requested no services. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Friends, 302 South Main St. Ellensburg, WA 98926 or to the Alzheimer’s association.
