Bellevue Police Blotter for May 30 - June 3

Sunday, June 3

Threats: Two intoxicated suspects got into an argument with the staff at a restaurant on the 2200 block of 148th Ave. Northeast. One suspect struck one of the waitresses. As the two were leaving the restaurant one of them turned towards the staff, displayed a sliver handgun and made threats to kill them. Suspects were contacted and arrested.

Saturday, June 2

Felony Warrant: Two males were walking in the middle of Southeast Eastgate Way between vehicles and well outside of the crosswalk. Both were contacted and stopped. One suspect was non-compliant and ended up running away when being ran for warrants. A foot pursuit ensued. He was finally corned in the southeast portion of a nearby mall, taken to the ground, and arrested. Suspect had a felony warrant for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle and was booked into jail.

Friday, June 1

Disturbance: Two subjects argued over the price of the sale of a used car on the 500 block of 116 Ave. Northeast. Officers arrived and mediated the civil matter.

Theft: Unknown suspect entered the Jewelry store, tried on several pieces of jewelry then took all of the pieces and ran out the door on the 2000 block of 148th Ave. Northeast.

Theft: Suspect took a receipt from a friend who had just bought an air conditioner and tried taking one off the shelf and return it using the same receipt on the 4100 block of Factoria Boulevard Southeast. A manager caught the transaction and the suspect was arrested.

Thursday, May 31

Warrants: Suspect was in the lobby of the above location causing a disturbance on the 1600 block 116th Ave. Northeast. Officers arrived and contacted the suspect. It was determined he had an outstanding assault warrant out of the Seattle. Subject was taken into custody and booked into jail.

Trespass: Suspect tried to deposit $30 worth of counterfeit bills at the bank and was denied on the 15600 block of Northeast 8th St. The suspect became irate and refused to leave. Officers arrived and the suspect continued to refuse to leave. After all attempts to have the suspect leave were exhausted the suspect was taken into custody.

Wednesday, May 30

DUI: A driver was contacted on a traffic stop near the corner of the 113th Ave. Southeast and Bellevue Way. He was arrested for DUI and booked into Jail.
