Sammamish students win photo awards at Omega

Out of 45 entries, 10 were winners. Also placing were Chris Chow, second, and Molly Mackenzie, third.

Honorable mention awards went to: Alice Ho, Kristina Schmitt, Lisa McCambridge, Todd Anderson, Tanilei Pinto and Molly Mackenzie

The contest theme was abstract photography. The judges were: professional photographer Darrel Gulin, noted amateur photographer Dale Fishel, and past judge of many photography contests and amateur photographer Newell Burton.

The photos are on display now at Omega Photo, 1100 Bellevue Way N.E. #6. Hours are M-F, 9:30 a.m.-7 p.m.; Sat, 10 a.m.- 6 p.m.; and Sun noon-5 p.m.

The exhibit runs through June 15.
