Roger Frey announces candidacy for Medina council

Roger Frey has announced his candidacy for Medina City Council.

During his 10 years of living in Medina, Frey and his family have enjoyed much of what Medina has had to offer. He is running for council to make a positive contribution, and to enable residents to continue to enjoy the quality of life and sense of community Medina provides.

Over the past several years, Frey said he has advocated forcefully for the preservation of Medina’s parks and open spaces for the benefit of Medina residents.

Frey has also advocated for the equitable and transparent application of the rules, regulations and laws enacted by the City of Medina and looks forward to representing everyone in Medina equally.

Frey is passionate about children, and will do all he can to provide a fun and safe environment so all kids can thrive in the community.

Lastly, Frey said he has advocated for common-sense and logical solutions to the challenges faced by Medina. There numerous challenges to rise to, including increased traffic congestion, State Route 520 noise abatement, and public safety.

Frey said he is confident that by working collaboratively and collegially with fellow Council members, these challenges will be met, ensuring the enjoyment of Medina for all.
