Dec. 2

Gross man: At 10:50 p.m. at Southeast 3rd Street, a man on a Metro bus committed a sex act next to another bus passenger. He also had an outstanding warrant and was arrested.

Dec. 4

Warrant arrest: At 1:42 a.m. in the 2600 block of 148th Avenue Southeast, an officer made social contact with two people at a gas station. They give the officer personal information and using it, the officer determined one of the people had used their brother’s name. The subject who was actually present had a felony warrant for escape from community custody.

Idling theft: At 6:44 a.m. in the 13900 block of Northeast 12th Street, someone’s car was stolen as it was idling outside.

Refusing directions: At 6 p.m. in the 3800 block of 140th Avenue Northeast, an elderly man drove to the store to buy light bulbs. He left his cell phone behind at home. Five hours later, he still hadn’t returned home. His wife called 911. She thought he was driving around trying to get home and would not stop to ask for help.

Dec. 5

Missing guns: At 7:40 a.m. in the 13400 block of Northeast 20th Street, three pistols were shipped from Bellevue to New York. They were never received.

Dec. 8

Shell casings: At 5:30 p.m. in the 10000 block of Northeast 31st Street, a citizen found several spent shell casings in her neighborhood. The casings were likely related to a call for service the night before, when several shots were heard in the area after a large party broke up.
