Bellevue to offer media training

The city of Bellevue will hold a two-hour training session designed specifically for non-profits and government agencies that need to deal with the media.

Participants will learn steps to getting publicity for their events and programs. The training features a panel discussion of professionals in the field including Stacy Nguyen, Editor of Northwest Asian Weekly Magazine, Joaquin Uy, Public Affairs Director of KBCS-FM, 91. 3 (Bellevue Community College), Lisa Patterson, Editor of 425 Magazine and Whitney Keyes, Marketing Consultant and Journalist.

The session, which will feature a question and answer session, will be held from 9-11 a.m. on March 6 at Bellevue City Hall Room 108. Reservations are required.
