Kelsey Creek center shooting under investigation

No motive yet for two cars, AutoZone store front hit by gunfire.

Bellevue Police are investigating a shooting that happened Monday, at the Kelsey Creek Shopping center, north of the Lake Hills neighborhood.

At 11:20 p.m. on March 18, police responded to a report of shots fired at the business center on Main Street that houses multiple businesses including Walmart, Menchies and Little Caesars.

The AutoZone location, hit by numerous bullets, now has a hole in its storefront window. Two vehicles at the same location — one occupied another unoccupied — were also hit by gunfire.

The victim, in their car during the gunfire, was located nearby and police took their statement. The victim was not hurt or injured, but their vehicle was hit several times by gunfire, and their side and rear windows shot out.

The shooting is currently under investigation, and no motive is known at this time, said Bellevue Police Department official Seth Tyler. Anyone with information on the case is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
