The Energize Eastside project has entered its second comment period for its environmental impact statement.

Interested parties can submit comments until August 1.

This comment period has been reopened for additional scoping comments on the Phase 2 impact statement and is in response to two new proposed routes by Puget Sound Energy designed to avoid the boundaries of the East Bellevue Community Council.

These alternate routes have been controversial points in a project already rife with controversy.
