The Eastside Transportation Association announced its support for Bellevue’s Proposition 2 levy.

The levy, for “neighborhood safety, connectivity and congestion,” provides funding for transportation improvements, including congestion relief and new sidewalks.

Victor Bishop, chair-elect of the Eastside Transportation Association, said his board said the levy was the right move for the city.

“After careful consideration of the proposed transportation investments, particularly advancing the design of congestion-relieving transportation projects serving Bellevue’s neighborhoods, enhanced safety and improved connectivity, the ETA Board encourages Bellevue’s voters to support the measure,” Bishop wrote in a letter to the Bellevue city council.

Bellevue has two propositions on the ballot.
