Cellular Connection to offer backpacks to needy children

The Cellular Connection in Bellevue will donate between 100 and 150 backpacks full of school supplies to needy children.

 

The Cellular Connection in Bellevue will donate between 100 and 150 backpacks full of school supplies to needy children. Area families will be invited to the the store between noon and 2 p.m. Aug. 3 to pick up a backpack filled with pencils, paper, a pencil box, folders, glue and more. Backpacks will be given away on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

Customers have participated in the program by an option to round their purchases up to the nearest dollar with the difference going directly toward the School Rocks Backpack Giveaway.

The store is located at 14825 Main St.
