Bonnie and Clyde arrested: A man approached officers and asked where his girlfriend was taken after being arrested for outstanding warrants earlier that evening. When the suspect turned to leave, officers spotted his truck, which had been reported stolen. The suspect’s story why he had the truck was refuted by the vehicle’s owner and he was arrested and booked into jail. It is unknown if he was reunited with his girlfriend.

Sept. 6

Babes and booze: An unknown male suspect stolen approximately $491 worth of diapers and alcohol from a store in the 3600 block of 150th Ave. SE.

Sept. 7

Barrage of bounty hunters: A woman living in the 10700 block of NE 10th St. called 911 to report that four armed men had entered her building and were claiming to be members of law enforcement serving a warrant. She was alarmed due to the fact that they were not wearing uniforms. Police made contact with the four men and determined they were bounty hunters. Bounty hunters are not members of law enforcement and are not authorized to represent themselves as such. They were warned by police.

Sept. 10

Stationary subject: A 911 caller reported a man sitting in the middle of Northeast 10th Street near 111th Avenue Northeast. Vehicles had to stop and move around him to avoid hitting the man. The subject was contacted by police and transported to the hospital in protective custody.

Key crook: Management of an apartment complex in the 900 block of 110th Ave. NE said there was a subject in a vacant unit and called police. When police found the subject, he was in possession of master keys and key fobs for the apartment complex. The subject was booked into jail.
