Research has shown that students who acquire the core social and emotional competencies

Research has shown that students who acquire the core social and emotional competencies — including self-management, self-awareness, social awareness, relationship skills and responsible decision making —experience academic and behavioral benefits.

Join the Bellevue Schools Foundation as they present a free program — Education Connections: Social Emotional Learning — to learn more about the SEL Pilot that is ongoing in all seven of Bellevue’s middle schools.

The Foundation will present this program in collaboration with the Bellevue PTSA Council 2.3.

The event will run from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, March 7 in the rainier room (Building 1) at the Wilburton Instructional Service Center, 12241 Main St., Bellevue.

The event is free but registration is required by contacting Jeanne Gustafson at info@bsfdn.org or 425-456-4199.
