A painter had one of her works stolen during the arts fairs in Downtown Bellevue over the past weekend.

Nancy Eckels discovered her 4-foot x 6-foot abstract work, "Crazy for a Day," stolen from her secured booth in the lot north of Northeast Eighth Street next to Bellevue Way sometime between fair closing time Saturday evening and her arrival Sunday morning.

Bellevue Police are investigating.
