Construction crews will close lanes on SR 520 Thursday night and Friday night to work on two separate projects.
From Thursday, June 17 through the morning of Friday, June 18, crews will close the right lane of eastbound SR 520 across the Evergreen Point Floating Bridge from 10 p.m. Thursday to 4 a.m. Friday to install temporary barrier. This work is part of a project to replace frayed and corroded anchor cables that connect the bridge to the bed of Lake Washington.
From Friday, June 18 through the morning of Saturday, June 19, crews will close all lanes of westbound SR 520 between SR 202 and West Lake Sammamish Parkway from 11 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday for drainage work. The on-ramps to westbound SR 520 from SR 202 and West Lake Sammamish Parkway also will be closed from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Traffic will be detoured onto Bear Creek Parkway and Leary Way. This work is part of the SR 520 widening project in Redmond.
