Busy construction crews will close westbound I-90 and several ramps in Bellevue this week

Multiple construction projects in the Bellevue and Mercer Island require several ramp closures and a full westbound I-90 closures this week.

Tuesday, May 25

· 9 p.m. – 5 a.m. – Crews will close the 142nd Place SE HOV on-ramp to westbound I-90 and the Richards Road on-ramp to westbound I-90.

· 11 p.m. – 5 a.m. – Crews will close the on-ramps from southbound Bellevue Way to both directions of I-90 for grinding and paving. Traffic will be detoured onto southbound I-405 via 112th Ave. SE and SE 8th Street, then back to I-90.

· 11:59 p.m. – 5 a.m. – Crews will close westbound I-90 at I-405 to install a sign bridge. Traffic will be detoured onto southbound I-405 to Coal Creek Parkway and northbound I-405 to return to westbound I-90.

Wednesday, May 26

· 9 p.m. – 5 .m. – Crews will close the Bellevue Way on-ramp to the westbound I-90 center roadway and the southbound I-90 HOV ramp to the westbound center roadway.

· 11 p.m. – 5 a.m. – Crews will close westbound I-90 at E. Mercer Way to install a sign bridge. Traffic will be detoured onto E. Mercer Way to return to I-90.

· 11 p.m. – 5 a.m. – Crews will close the remaining on-ramps from southbound Bellevue Way to both directions of I-90 for grinding and paving. Traffic will be detoured onto southbound I-405 via 112th Ave. SE and SE 8th Street, then back to I-90.

Thursday, May 27

· 11 p.m. – 5 a.m. – Crews will close the on-ramps from southbound Bellevue Way to both directions of I-90 for grinding and paving. Traffic will be detoured onto southbound I-405 via 112th Ave. SE and SE 8th Street, then back to I-90.

· 11:59 p.m. – 5 a.m. – Crews will close westbound I-90 at E. Mercer Way roadway to install a sign bridge. Traffic will be detoured onto the I-90 center roadway and back to the westbound I-90 mainline at Rainier Avenue. They will also close the following ramps:

· West Mercer Way to westbound I-90

· 76th Avenue SE to westbound I-90

· Island Crest Way to westbound I-90

· East Mercer Way to westbound I-90

· Bellevue Way to westbound I-90
