Bellevue plotting future of Eastgate business district

The Bellevue City Council has voted to conduct a study to guide future development and transportation projects in the Eastgate business district, home to roughly 18 percent of all jobs in the city.
The study, due to be complete in the first half of 2011, will focus on commercial office and retail properties along Interstate 90, generally bounded by Interstate 405 to the west, 161st Ave. SE to the east, SE 26th St. to the north and SE 38th St. to the south.
