One southbound lane of Bellevue Way Southeast will be closed on both sides of the intersection with Southeast Sixth Street for three weeks starting Aug. 5.

The closure will be in effect from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on weekdays. It allows King County to install a concrete vault for a wastewater main.

Contractors will excavate a 500-square-foot area beneath and adjacent to the sidewalk on the west side of Bellevue Way, south of the Sixth Street intersection.

The western sidewalk immediately south of Southeast Sixth Street will also be closed during work hours.
