Interstate 90 travelers should plan for overnight lane closures between Bellevue and Seattle due to construction activities. Crews working for WSDOT and Sound Transit are adding HOV lanes to the I-90 outer roadway between the cities of Mercer Island and Bellevue. They also are building new I-90 HOV on and off-ramps on Mercer Island and improving I-90 HOV access at Bellevue Way.

Crews will close the I-90 center roadway two nights next week, Wednesday, Nov. 12 and Thursday, Nov. 13. Highway crews will close the roadway at 8 p.m. each night and reopen it by 5 a.m. the following morning. During the closure crews will perform electrical work.
