Public meeting to aid police chief hiring process

The city will host a public meeting 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday (July 22) to gather input to aid in the search for the next Bellevue police chief.

Attendees at the City Hall meeting will be asked about the issues and priorities they want to see the new chief address, and what experience is needed to lead a department of 220 employees. They will also be asked what the city has to offer that will attract the vest candidate.
