The FBI is on the lookout for a man who robbed the Key Bank on Bellevue Way Northeast this morning, making off with an undisclosed amount of money.

Bellevue Police Ofc. Carla Iafrate says a white man in his 20s, around 5-foot-7-inches tall, wearing a clear, plastic mask, black hoodie, blue jeans and a purple baseball cap, approached a teller around 11:20 a.m. this morning and brandished what appeared to be a semiautomatic handgun.

Following the robbery, the teller reported the man fleeing the 1000 block of Bellevue Way Northeast in a white four-door vehicle in an unknown direction.

Bank robberies are handled by the Federal Bureau of Investigations, and the Reporter is awaiting more information at this time.
